Term: primary colours

Primary colours are the fundamental colours that cannot be created by mixing other colours together. In traditional colour theory (used in painting and art), the primary colours are:

• Red
• Blue
• Yellow

These three colours are the basis for creating all other colours through mixing. When combined in various ways, they produce secondary and tertiary colours. Primary colours are essential in both artistic and design applications, including painting, printing, and digital media.
