Term: extension pole

An extension pole is a telescopic or fixed-length pole designed to extend the reach of a painter, allowing them to apply paint to high or hard-to-reach areas without the need for ladders or scaffolding. Typically made from lightweight materials such as aluminum or fiberglass, extension poles can be attached to paint rollers, brushes, or other painting tools. They are commonly used in both residential and commercial painting projects to improve efficiency, safety, and coverage—especially for ceilings, tall walls, and exterior surfaces.
